The badge means the venture's claim to produce technology has been assessed and recorded at an institutional level. In practice, for us, it means the decision engine behind Otodexa is not an interface exercise but R&D work counted among the country's advanced technology ventures.

Otodexa is a homegrown project: both the product and the infrastructure behind its decisions are built here with the rules of the Turkish market in mind. Local realities such as tax thresholds, brand distribution and price bands are not an adaptation added later; they were part of the design from the start.

Our venture sits in the same ecosystem as hundreds of teams working in software and artificial intelligence. We are not building the product alone in a room, but inside a community whose work is technology.

Getting attention at home is different from passing through the filter of an international programme. Being selected for VentureLab shows that the decision engine we built, while a solution specific to Turkey, is also seen as meaningful on a global scale.

Used cars are a different problem from new ones: between two cars of the same model, mileage, damage history and service record set the price. On this side, rather than working alone, we move forward together with a team focused on the subject.

Trying a recommendation engine on a few people is not the same as exposing it to a hundred thousand different user behaviours. The simulation showed us, before real users arrived, which profiles we were weak on; we corrected the recommendations based on those measurements.

Having the data behind our analyses come from a licensed industry source means the ground we stand on is clear. Our rule on prices is also clear: only prices confirmed by the brand's official source are published; where a model cannot be confirmed, we refer you to the dealer instead of showing a price.
